About the event

Girls Night Out - Leisure hike at Fernbank Park along the beautiful Ohio River.  If this is your first time joining the group it is a perfect opportunity to learn more about Cincy Hikes &  meet other likeminded people. The path is easy, flat, mostly paved &  2 miles.    After hike there are several places nearby to socialize with food & brews; 13 Below Brewery, Cabana, FREE Friday concerts at Fernbank Golf Course (food & drinks available to purchase- bring a chair).

Trail: shared-use trail -  1.2 miles, Sycamore Trail - 1.0 mile

Meeting Place: TECUMSEH SHELTER - located near children’s playground & brick building with restrooms.

Mileage: 2.2 miles

Pace (See notes): Beginners 

Trail Rating (easy, moderate, hard): easy

Dogs allowed?: Yes

A Hamilton Great Parks Annual Motor Vehicle Permit or daily admission is required to enter park.  Resident $10/ Non-resident $16 per year.

Other notes including trail conditions or equipment recommended?: Please always remember to bring water and wear proper shoes to your hike. Hiking shoes & trekking poles recommended.

*Note: Beginners Pace is 1+ mph, Intermediate is 2+ mph, Speedy 3+ mph, or Runners 4+ mph.

Where dogs are permitted they must be leashed and kept under the owners control.
